Blankets for Kosova

Thank you to everyone who has been knitting squares and particularly to those
who have got friends and family joining in too. Please do give them our thanks! Up
to now we have 12 blankets completed ( which is 1296 squares!) and there are
lots of squares still to be used. If you could help in sewing the squares together
then that would be really helpful ( the blanket needs to be 9 squares by 12 long) It
doesn't matter how this is done as long as the squares are joined tightly. The good
news is that SMILE will collect the blankets sometime in the middle of November
and they will go with the shoebox delivery, so let's see how many we can achieve in
this time. After that date we can still keep knitting and these blankets can go off at
a later date.
Thank you also to all those who took photos for our "Where did you knit your
square?" competition. Have a look at these on show in the vestibule today.
