Calling all musicians

Could your skills be used to enhance the provision of music for worship? If you think you might be able to contribute to the work of the band... either now or in the foreseeable future ... please have a word with one of the members of the current worship band. Thanks.

Beloved

'Beloved' is a time for women (suitable for age 16 plus) to get together to chat, pray, worship God and have some teaching. Discover how you can more become the person God created you to be.....We meet upstairs in Costa Coffee on Market St in Newcastle (opposite the Theatre Royal) on a Friday evening 7-9pm...The next event is on Friday the 30th of March. There is no charge for this event but an offering will be taken to support the work of Beloved from which a donation will be given to support the work of A21. Free parking can be found in the multi- storey on Dean St.

Blanket News!

Blanket News!

Our blankets were collected on Wednesday morning. The driver had travelled through the night from Kent, to arrive at Church by 8.30am so thank you for all the prayers for safe transportation. In total there were 82 blankets and 9 small baby size ones. As the primary focus for SMILE at this time is shoeboxes, they ask also for a minimum of 50 shoe boxes to make it worthwhile for the lorry to travel to us. As a result of the Kosova Kafe and kind donations from various people we were able to fill 35 boxes from Fellside which together with boxes collected from 2 New- castle schools meant that we were also able to send 124 shoe boxes together with various hats scarves and jumpers. This is an excellent result as it has in no way detracted from the excellent work this church does in supporting Samaritans Purse.

As to the future, we keep knitting if people are happy to do this (and we already have 1 blanket to add to 2012's total.) If you know of anyone who has been knit- ting for us, then please do tell them this latest news and thank them for all they are doing. If you feel that a thank you card from the Church would be appropriate then please have a word with Jean who will supply this.

Extraordinary General Meeting –Tomorrow night – Wednesday 7th September @ 7.30pm

Led by the Leadership Team, this meeting will be primarily about vision, structure and the way forward for the church.  It will be from a practical point of view, not just theory, and concentrating on the part everyone can play to realise the potential we have in Fellside.  It won't be all from the front – there'll be several opportunities for prayer, discussion and feedback. PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND – this is a crucial meeting for the development of Fellside, and you're part of it!
